Schoolgirl grows her hair for charity

By County Echo Reporter in Charity

Fishguard schoolgirl Keeley Thomas has grown her hair for a charity which helps children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment.

Keeley decided to grow her hair three years ago having read about The Little Princess Trust.

“Three years later it was long enough to provide two children in need with beautiful blonde wigs,” she said.

Keeley’s fundraising drive reached £401, helped by a donation of £100 from the Gwaun Lodge (RAOB) of which her father, David, is a member.

She is pictured receiving the donation at the Railwaymen’s Club in Fishguard from Gwaun Lodge (RAOB) members Hadley John, Frank Colella, Keith Morgan, David Thomas and Allan Didcote. Photo: Johnny Morris.

This week’s County Echo is out in shops tomorrow.
