Coach House win darts knockout

By County Echo Reporter in Darts

THE 2016-17 North Pembrokeshire Mens’ Darts season came to a conclusion with the Handicap Knockout, which this year was held at the Shamrock, with teams from both the A and B Leagues competing.

Not surprisingly, given the excellent turnout, the venue was extremely busy, and the atmosphere electric.

With the possibility of giant-killing results, newly crowned B League champions Coach House B took full advantage of a 160 handicap to win their semi-final against Pendre C, who have just become the A League champions for the third year in succession.

The final was very close, with Coach B squeezing through for a 4-3 win against Pendre A.

Results: Semi-finals: Coach House B (541) 4 Pendre C (701) 0;

Pendre A (641) 4 Gate B (561) 2. Final: Coach House B 4 Pendre A 3.

High scorers: Gary Hall 180, Tom Glover 110 out, Peter Coleman 100 out, Mike Burns (unluckily) 139 bust.
