GOODWICK United Seconds edged a welcome 1-0 win over Saundersfoot Sports in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire League division two to give themselves a welcome boost.
The Seconds gained only their third win of the season with a hard fought but deserved win, with Callum Clark scoring the only goal when he finished from Kieran O’Connor’s excellent cross.
Solva meanwhile settled for a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw at home to Hundleton, with David Price netting for the hosts and Craig Manning scoring to earn a battling point for the visitors.
Fishguard Sports, lying third in the table, drew 1-1 at St Ishmaels, with Jordan White netting for the visitors and Andre Algieri for the hosts.
Sean Seymour Davies scored four goals as St Clears were convincing 5-1 winners over Lawrenny, with Jon Seeley also netting for the hosts.
Two goals from Richard Bevan and one from Jason Griffiths earned leaders Clarbeston Road a crucial 3-1 win over title rivals Herbrandston,with Mark Jones netting a reply goal for the visitors.
In division three, goals from Julian Wood, Alan Llewellyn, Ian Harvey, Chris Phillips, Jack Johnston and Ian Davies earned Broad Haven a 6-1 win over Pendine, with Callum Sydall replying.
Mike Brynon and Richard Tebbutt both scored twice for Kilgetty, with Tom Baker and Henry Lawrence also scoring in their 6-1 win at Camrose, who netted a reply through Jay Johnstone.
Kieran Walker, Daniel Thomas and Tom Richards meanwhile hit the net as Llangwm registered a 3-1 win over Pennar Robins Seconds, who replied through Patrick McDonagh’s goal.
The scheduled match between Milford Athletic and Narberth Seconds was postponed as the visitors were unable to raise a team to play.
