Walk in aid of RNLI raises £700

By County Echo Reporter in Local People

Soon after dawn on mid-summer’s day, more than 50 people, aged five to 85, from South Africa, the USA and the local area, walked round Dinas Island from Pwllgwaelod.

The walk, in aid of Fishguard and Goodwick RNLI, started at 6am and everyone enjoyed a bacon and egg breakfast as they completed the walk.

A total of £700 was raised to support the work of the RNLI in Fishguard.

This week’s County Echo is out in shops tomorrow.
