GOODWICK United continue to impress in pre-season after netting 10 goals in the space of a week.
The Phoenix Park side toppled a strong St Dogmaels side 2-1 on Tuesday night.
The Costcutter Ceredigion League side applied pressure from the first whistle and Goodwick has to work hard to efforts at goal.
Goodwick squandered three excellent chances in the first half, but finally took the lead in the 46th minute as an excellent passing move allowed Rhys Dalling to finish in style.
The hosts were then able to build momentum, continuously threatening the St Dogs goal.
But it was the visitors who struck next, scoring from an excellent header.
Goodwick soon found their form again though, and that pressure forced the visitors into conceding a penalty as Jordan Griffiths was bundled over in the box.
Captain Adam Raymond made no mistakes to make it 2-1 and secure the win.
On Friday, Goodwick fired in eight goals without reply in a rout of neighbours Solva.
After a fast-paced start, Steve Dockerty opened the scoring before Lee Hudgell and Jordan Griffiths foudn the net to make it 3-0 at the break.
In the second half, the Phoenix Park lads upped the tempo to overcome a physical Solva team.
Kieran O’Brien struck twice, including an excellent 25-yard effort, while Dalling, Chris O’Sullivan and Iestyn Evans rounded off the scoring to seal a comprehensive win.
Goodwick now look ahead to a FAW Trophy game at home to Swansea Senior Cup champions Ynystawe FC on Saturday.
Elsewhere in the Pembrokeshire League, Tenby AFC have withdrawn both their senior sides, meaning Narberth will continue to ply their trade in division one.
